Biography

Tommaso Innocenti is a doctoral student at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, advised by Engin Kirda. His doctoral research, which he began in 2019 and expects to complete in 2024, focuses on security and privacy.

In particular, Innocenti researches at the intersection of computer science and consumer protection, aiming to increase the security of users’ online accounts by raising awareness of vulnerabilities and promoting secure authentication procedures. He is affiliated with the Systems Security Lab, and presented his first paper at DIMVA 2021.

Before joining Northeastern, Innocenti earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in computer science and engineering from the Politecnico di Milano. During his master’s program, he studied at Universidad Complutense di Madrid under the Erasmus exchange scholarship.
