Heather Sciacca is an events manager in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston. 

Sciacca joined Khoury College in 2022 to manage the college’s 40th anniversary events, then stayed on after the anniversary’s conclusion to further her career in higher education event management. She now manages a variety of events, including faculty conferences, college-wide events, and staff and faculty celebrations. She enjoys planning events for the Khoury community because of how passionate everyone is about what they do. 

Before joining Khoury College, Sciacca coordinated events for the Fenn School, the USA Northeast Province of the Society of Jesuits, and the Greater Nashua chapter of Habitat for Humanity, among others. Her favorite parts of her work are day-of event management, the thrill of running around and setting up, and seeing months of planning come to fruition. 

In her free time, Sciacca enjoys ceramics, jewelry making, drawing, and hanging with her golden doodle.
