First Flight Devs was created to help Align students master computer science through hands-on projects and mentorship opportunities. By doing so, the club hopes to foster a community of well-rounded, confident, and skilled computer scientists who are ready to make meaningful contributions to the field.
While First Flight Devs is open to students from any degree program, it emphasizes the challenges that students from non-CS backgrounds face when integrating into a new academic and cultural setting. The club values inclusivity and ensures that Align students feel supported as they delve into the world of computer science.
