Biography

Caitlin Kidder is the director of graduate programs in the Center for Inclusive Computing at Northeastern University, based in Boston.

In her current role, Kidder works with colleges and universities across the country to broaden participation within their graduate computing programs. Previously, she served as an academic advisor for Khoury College’s MSCS and Align students on the Seattle campuses, and as director of network programs and the Align program across the Northeastern network. She is also pursuing her doctorate in education at Northeastern with a focus on organizational leadership studies.

Before joining Northeastern, Kidder worked in administration at small liberal arts colleges, large state universities, and private institutions. She also served in the AmeriCorps VISTA program, where she strove to boost college access and success for K-12 students from marginalized and minority backgrounds — sparking her passion for higher education and education policy in the process.

Kidder grew up in Seattle and now resides in Greater Boston.
