Biography
Diego Rivera Correa is a Khoury Distinguished Research Fellow and doctoral student in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston. He is advised by Mirek Riedewald.
Rivera has always been fascinated with rearranging the flow and combination of things, an idea he applies to his research, in which he leverages scalable algorithms and graph analysis to boost network resilience — as applied to supply chains — in the face of disruptions. After growing up in Puerto Rico, where hurricanes often disrupt supply chains, he feels he can bring a unique perspective to the field.
Prior to joining Khoury College in 2023, Rivera worked as a software developer at Nagnoi — a healthcare analytics company based in San Juan, Puerto Rico — and as a Nashville-based business intelligence engineer at Amazon. Outside of academia, Rivera’s hobbies include playing FIFA with his older brother and watching basketball.
