Biography

John Wilder is a part-time lecturer at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. He earned his bachelor’s in computer science and psychology from St. John’s University, and both his master’s in computer science and PhD in cognitive psychology from Rutgers University.  

He has been published in the IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) and the Cognition Vision Journal of Vision Attention, Perception and Psychophysics. 

He is also currently a research associate at the University of Toronto’s Department of Psychology. 

Outside of work, Wilder enjoys camping, hiking, canoeing, geocaching, and playing board games.
