Biography

Kaan Onarlioglu is a part-time lecturer at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences.

Beyond teaching systems security topics at undergraduate and graduate levels, Onarlioglu is a research partner to Khoury College's Secure Systems Lab, his scientific works published at top-tier venues including Usenix Security, ACM CCS, NDSS, and IEEE S&P.

Onarlioglu’s recent research focuses on discovering and eliminating systems-centric vulnerabilities in proxied web architectures and content delivery networks.

Outside of academia, Onarlioglu is a principal architect of cybersecurity at Akamai, helping build a secure global cloud platform for a better Internet.
