Biography

Shih-Po Lee is a doctoral student in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston. He is advised by Ehsan Elhamifar.

Drawn by his fascination with his advisor’s research, Lee joined Khoury College in 2022 to pursue a doctorate focused on deep learning and computer vision. He is particularly interested in video understanding; for example, how to detect errors in egocentric procedural task videos. He enjoys the process of exploring new questions and discovering new solutions.

Before joining Khoury College, Lee worked as a research assistant in an AI lab at National Chiao Tung University, where he used millimeter wave radar to estimate human poses. He has published several papers in IEEE conferences and serves as a reviewer for IEEE TCSVT and IEEE CVPR.
