Zhifeng Sun is a part-time lecturer at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University. He earned his doctorate in computer science from Northeastern University and his bachelor’s in computer software engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology in China. Prior to joining Northeastern, Sun worked as a senior software engineer at Google, building large scale, distributed data processing system. Currently, he is a director at Coupang, an e-commerce company.

In his free time, Sun enjoys hiking, traveling to different national parks, and playing basketball.
